This packet contains the guidelines and criteria, terms and requirements, formal application and forms, as well as other information you will need to move forward in the Application process.

 

After you have read the information contained in the Business Assistance Incentive Program packet and have decided you would like to continue the Application process, please complete and submit the Pre-Application form on the right.

 

Hearne EDC will contact you to set up an appointment to discuss your project and application.  The Pre-Application Meeting is required in order for your application to be considered for funding.

 

Bring your completed Application, Letter of Intent, all required documents listed in the Business Assistance Incentive Program packet and your Program packet to this meeting.

BUSINESS ASSISTANCE INCENTIVE PROGRAM

The Business Assistance Incentive Program, offered by HEDC - Type A and HCDC - Type B, provides financial incentives to new and existing businesses located within the city limits of Hearne, Robertson County, Texas to promote the development and expansion of businesses in order to increase economic activity, employment and stability.


Award of incentives will be based on the proposed project's overall contribution to the economic growth of the city of Hearne.  Projects are considered on a case-by-case basis and evaluated on job creation, capital investment, wages, community impact as well as other qualifying criteria.
