The Business Assistance Incentive Program, offered by HEDC - Type A and HCDC - Type B, provides financial incentives to new and existing businesses located within the city limits of Hearne, Robertson County, Texas to promote the development and expansion of businesses in order to increase economic activity, employment and stability.

Award of incentives will be based on the proposed project's overall contribution to the economic growth of the city of Hearne.  Projects are considered on a case-by-case basis and evaluated on job creation, capital investment, wages, community impact as well as other qualifying criteria.

• ​Submit the form on the right to indicate your preferred method for obtaining a copy of the Business Assistance Incentive Program packet.  Once you have received the packet and read all the material provided, complete the application and attach all the required documentation.

• Electronically submit a LETTER OF INTENT to apply for the Business Assistance Incentive Program to (hedctypeb@hotmail.com).

• An Email notification will be sent to the email address listed in the 'Letter of Intent' to schedule a pre-application meeting with two board members of HEDC/HCDC. You will be required to present your completed application and required documents at this meeting.

The Business Assistance Incentive Program packet contains all the information about the Program. The four-page application can be found on pages 18-21 in the Program packet. Required documents to be submitted with a completed application are shown on pages 14-15 in the Program packet.
